What is La Luna Girls Circle?
La Luna Girls Circle is a unique, year-long program designed to guide young girls as they step into their journey of menstruation and womanhood. Through meaningful traditions, self-care practices, and a supportive community, this program nurtures confidence and wisdom in a safe, welcoming space.
Rooted in ancient wisdom and sacred ceremonies, our gatherings help girls embrace their natural cycles and inner strength while fostering deep connections with like-minded peers.
What We Do
Each month, we meet for a two-hour session that aligns with the natural rhythms of the seasons and the Celtic festivals. These gatherings blend storytelling, creative expression, guided discussions, and rituals that foster connection, empowerment, and self-understanding.
During our time together, we:
Embrace Change – Helping girls understand and celebrate their journey into womanhood with openness and curiosity.
Build Confidence – Creating a supportive space where they can express themselves freely and develop emotional resilience.
Practice Self-Care – Learning holistic and ancient self-care techniques that nourish the body, mind, and spirit.
Foster Connection – Encouraging friendships and a sense of belonging among like-minded peers.
The Journey of La Luna Girls
Our journey unfolds over the course of the year, moving through the seasons and Celtic festivals, with each gathering offering a unique theme that reflects the transitions of life and nature
We take a mindful pause in August, allowing time for rest and reflection before continuing the final stages of the journey, culminating at the Winter Solstice in December.
Circles are held once a month on a Sunday | Times to be confirmed | 2027 dates to be confirmed.

January - Mums Circle: A gathering for mothers to come together, connect, and prepare for the journey ahead, followed by a Q&A.

February (Imbolc) – Opening Ceremony: Mothers and daughters come together for an opening ceremony, sewing a locket, and sharing stories

March – Connection Building: Introducing the internal weather report and getting to know each other through creating a web of connection.

April – Stages of Womanhood: Exploring the stages of womanhood and the wisdom of the cycles.

May (Beltane) – Anatomy and Physiology: Learning about fertility and making a Beltane crown of flowers.

June – Intuition and Inner Guidance: Developing intuition and creating a floral womb mandala.

July (Summer Solstice) – Celebration: Mothers and daughters share what has been learned, celebrating with a garden party and enjoying the outdoor swimming pool.

October – Magic of Menstruality: Discussing the 28-day cycle and exploring menstrual products.

November – Self-Care and Relating: Crafting moon baskets and participating in a Letting Go fire ceremony.

December (Winter Solstice) – Closing Ceremony: Walking the winter spiral, storytelling, and sharing tea and cake with mothers and daughters.
